Climate Change
We closely monitor the environmental impacts of our operations, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).
Guided by efficient and transparent management of climate change, we operate on the basis of four fundamental pillars.
In addition, we invest in training for employees and customers, promoting awareness of fuel saving and preventive maintenance.
Risk, Emissions and Waste Management
We use power from photovoltaic plants to power garages and operating units located in Parauapebas and Canaan dos Carajás (PA), and Igarapé (MG).

Waste Management
Management of environmentally sound waste generation, treatment and disposal is an important part of our work to reduce environmental impacts.
In search of an even greater assertive approach to the theme, we have implemented a new management platform, with significant improvements in data collection, cost and supplier control.
This new systematization was initiated in some of our units, considered the most relevant for automation of management - mainly by the reporting level required to environmental agencies, such as the Potentially Polluting Activities Report (RAPP) of Ibama.
Water and effluents
Our water management is coordinated by the Water Resources Control and Waste Monitoring Program, which aims to promote eco-efficiency in the use and disposal.
Its initiatives aim at reducing consumption and controlling volumes used in operations, which takes into account the legal requirements inherent in the company's activities and the carrying out of risk mitigation projects.
Environmental Education Programme
The Environmental Education Program aims to increase environmental awareness among the employees of the company and the local community through workshops, lectures and corporate campaigns.
Program activities focus on topics such as water and energy conservation, waste management and atmospheric emissions.
The program is based on Brazilian environmental legislation and aims to promote sustainable practices in all operations of the company.
Gold Seal
In recognition of the transparency and consistency of the information reported, we conquered the Gold Seal in the Public Record of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, a higher level of recognition of the Brazilian Program GHG Protocol. This result proves the seriousness of VIXPar in climate management and reinforces our active role in coping with climate change.
Reserve
White Eagle
Located in Vargem Alta (ES), the White Eagle Environmental Reserve is the most important conservation initiative of the White Eagle Group, which our company actively participates in, supporting its maintenance and preservation.
Created in 2017, its area of 2,200 hectares was approved as a Private Nature Heritage Reserve (RPPN) and is a significant forest remnant within the Ecological Corridor Blue Stone – Large Oven, in the Capixabas Mountains.
Biodiversity: 396 species of flora and 357 of birds, and hundreds of amphibians and mammals identified.
Hydrography: comprises 14 watercourses, which make up the Itapemirim River Basin, one of the most important in the state.
